Will You Deny Wisdom's Cry?

May 26, 2019 Speaker: Kyle Jenison Series: Stand Alone Sermons

Topic: Repentance Passage: Proverbs 1:20–33

As a Student Pastor, I watch kids grow up in the church, hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ, hear from the living and active Word of God, and many stray from it. Several leave the church when they leave the house. But we all face the same danger. Many of us know what the Bible says, we have heard the Word taught often, and we know about God. But it is not enough to hear the Word; we must also heed the Word. I fear that there may be many who have knowledge but no repentance, prosperity but no peace, counsel but no contrition. In Proverbs 1:20–33, we come to some busy streets. It is one of the liveliest and one of the deadliest scenes of Scripture. It is dynamic, dramatic, noisy, crowded, stormy, sad, frightening, and peaceful. We will hear wisdom's cry to turn and find life, for the consequences of complacency are unbearable. There are four parts to wisdom's cry.
