The God Of Glory Thunders

Psalm 29

You and I were hard-wired for an all-satisfying awe of God. The problem is that we don’t often experience this satisfaction that comes from giving God the glory. This morning, we turn to Psalm 29 in hopes to increase our awe of God. To do so, we will observe three realms of God’s supremacy in which He shows us His glory. Let us walk out of here today thinking, feeling, and believing, “God is awesome!”

1. PRAISE GOD FOR HIS SUPREMACY OVER HEAVEN (29:1-2)

2. PRAISE FOR HIS SUPREMACY OVER NATURE (29:3-9)

3. PRAISE GOD FOR HIS SUPREMACY OVER HUMANITY (29:10-11)

Spend some time in prayer asking God to give you a greater awareness of any awe problems in your heart. Spend some time in focused adoration of the Lord. Commit your life to bringing Him glory and not yourself. Trust in the God of glory who sits enthroned as King forever. Worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness.
