By His Grace And For His Glory

March 28, 2021 Speaker: Ken Ramey Series: Romans

Topic: Gospel Mission Passage: Romans 16:25–27

In these final three verses of the book of Romans, like a masterful composer, Paul weaved together the main themes and repeated the most memorable refrains from his epic treatise on the gospel to create a majestic crescendo of praise to God for the saving work He accomplished through His Son Jesus Christ. You may be familiar with the statement: “theology results in doxology.” In other words, when you study what the Bible teaches about God, Jesus Christ, the depravity of man, and the sovereignty of God in salvation it should make you want to worship God. And that is exactly what Paul did as he wrapped up his letter to the believers in Rome. In vv. 25-27, there are four reasons why God is worthy to be praised and proclaimed by those He has saved.
