The Master's University Chorale

Join us this coming May 6th as we experience the many voices of the Master's University Chorale!  Please make sure to register as there is limited seating.

THE MASTER'S CHORALE is a 43-member, audition-only choir under the direction of Dr. Marius Bahnean. The Chorale represents almost every academic major on campus, and is comprised of students who originate from across not only the United States. but across the globe! 

During their annual tours, The Master's Chorale has traveled to various regions of the United States as well as special tours to the United Kingdom, Spain. Albania and Russia. Additionally. the Chorale has had the unique privilege of traveling to Israel every four years since 1993. They have performed at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in New York City on multiple occasions and returned to Carnegie Hall on May 13, 2018 for a special performance of Dan Forrest's Requiem for the Living under their former director, Dr. Paul T. Plew. The Chorale was featured in a special recording for Slowly in Type Music at capitol Records in Los Angeles and most recently, filmed and recorded a special television segment for Wretched TV. 

THE MASTER'S UNIVERSITY is accredited by the WASC Senior College & University Commission and the National Association of Schools of Music. The School of Music strives not only to academically train students. but to give them performance opportunities Within the context of Christian ideals. Over one­ third of our campus is involved in music, including about 70 music majors. The School of Music's primary goal is to instill within the lives of students a desire to reach their God-given musical potential. Students select from 14 emphases in music, leading to a Bachelor of Music or Bachelor of Arts degree.
