Made for More: Finding Meaning Beyond the Madness
Ecclesiastes is the Spirit-inspired journal of King Solomon's passionate search for true meaning and satisfaction in the things of this world. He found out the hard way that nothing this world has to offer can fill the God-shaped void in every person's heart except God Himself. Apart from a relationship with God, life does not make any sense and the maddening pursuit of worldy pleasures leaves a person feeling empty and unhappy. But when a person looks beyond this world and realizes there is a God who is to be honored and obeyed and that life is a gift from Him and the key to fully enjoying the life God has given us is to honor and obey Him, then life becomes truly meaningful and fulfilling, because that is, after all, the ultimate purpose of life.
