Sold Out To The Savior

June 16, 2019 Speaker: Ken Ramey Series: Stand Alone Sermons

Topic: Salvation Passage: Matthew 13:44–13:46

Some people find Christ even though they aren’t looking for Him, while others find Him after years of searching. Some of you got saved and you didn’t even know you needed to be saved, while others of you knew there was something missing in your life and were on a quest for true meaning/fulfillment in life which you eventually discovered in Christ. Other than this one difference — a man stumbling upon a treasure and a merchant searching for a pearl — these two back-to-back parables Jesus told serve as TWO EXAMPLES of how when a person finds Jesus Christ and recognizes the surpassing value of the salvation He offers, they gladly give up their life of sin and willingly surrender everything and completely devote themselves to follow Him as their Lord and Savior.
