"When I'm afraid, I will put my trust in you." Psalm 56:3
Masks, Communion, Camps, Hospitality
I’m sure by now you've all heard about the latest executive order Governor Abbott issued requiring everyone in the state of Texas 10 years old and up to wear a face-covering in public places. Thankfully, he has once again graciously provided an exemption for churches. You do not have to wear a mask at church but wearing one is strongly encouraged so let your conscience be your guide. One suggestion is to wear a mask when entering and while interacting with others and taking it off once you are seated and then putting it back on when you get up to leave....
LBC Reopening Update
By God’s grace, since reopening our weekly services/ministries we know of no one in our church who has tested positive for COVID-19. Nevertheless, in light of the recent surge of cases in Texas, especially in our neighboring counties, and our Governor pausing his original reopening plan, we want to be as wise and diligent as possible in continuing to follow the recommended health and safety precautions whenever we gather....
This Sunday Morning
It has been such a joy and a blessing for us to be able to gather together again in person on Sunday mornings. Our first two Sundays back we have sought to provide a safe, comfortable environment for those who have decided to return to our church campus. We had originally reserved the Worship Center for our at-risk folks but since only a handful of people used that space the first week, last week we turned it into an overflow room. We also opened the 220 Room in the Student Center to provide another space for people to join us via livestream....
Worship With Us Again This Sunday!
I want to say “thank you” to all those who worked behind the scenes to provide a healthy, safe, and "as normal as possible" environment for our first Sunday back. I also want to commend all of you for the sincere enthusiasm you demonstrated being together again while at the same time being sensitive and deferring to one another as you greeted and interacted with each other....

Reopening Plan For LBC
The Pastors/Elders met this week to prayerfully consider what would be the wisest course of action for reopening LBC. After weighing the spiritual benefits for our church and our community versus the health risks that are still in play and the social distancing guidelines that are still in place, we unanimously agreed that it would be best to slowly and carefully phase things back in starting with our “Sunday Worship Service” on May 17...
LBC Is Open For Ministry
I’m sure you’ve heard by now that the Montgomery County Judge has ordered everyone to stay at their place of residence except for essential activities through April 12 and the President has extended the federal guidelines for the COVID-19 pandemic until April 30. Thankfully, we live in a country and a county that views the ministry of churches as essential and have allowed us to continue to provide worship services via livestream and individual counseling as long as social distancing protocols are followed....
COVID-19 Video Update

COVID-19 Update
Yesterday morning the LBC Elders met to pray and discuss how we can best minister to the members of our church and community in the midst of the rapidly changing COVID-19 pandemic. God was gracious to allow us to gather together publicly this past Sunday with some slight modifications to our service and we had originally planned to do the same thing this coming Sunday. However, based on the latest guidelines released this week by President Trump and Montgomery County officials;...
LBC Response to COVID-19
Please be praying for wisdom for our national and local government authorities, for strength and stamina for health care workers, and for unbelievers to realize the fragility and brevity of life and repent of their sin and commit their life to follow and obey Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior....
